Crane is growing and we are now a 24/7 operation in our Nashua, NH facility. Positions are now available on nights and weekends. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role within an organization known for innovative currency and banknote technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect product for an extended period of time.
  • Quickly learn and understand specifications for product construction, defect identification, and terminology.
  • Operate production machinery efficiently.
  • Safely follow standard operating procedures including material handling, record keeping, packaging, and shipment preparation.
  • Perform appropriate quality control tests.
  • Keep neat and accurate records.
  • Any other duty required to maximize efficient company operations in conformance to customer requirements.

 

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Industrial Math skills.
  • Comfortable working on a computer; working knowledge with MS Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude sufficient to operate light production machinery, material handling devices and quality test equipment.
  • Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred.
  • Previous chemical handling experience a plus.
  • Must be willing to work shift work, overtime, and weekends as required.
  • Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
