Crane is growing and we are now a 24/7 operation in our Nashua, NH facility. Positions are now available on nights and weekends. As a Press Operator, you will play a critical role within an organization known for innovative currency and banknote technologies.

  • Insure products meet required specifications throughout run.
  • Confirm all required components are present & customer specs are met.
  • Pull and visually inspect the tooling for each job.
  • Safely follow all SOPs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and perform scheduled operator maintenance duties.
  • Complete paperwork associated with press operations accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform quality checks and record information.
  • Comply with and enforce all pertinent departmental and company policies, procedures and instructions including safety procedures and requirements.
  • The job may require overtime and weekend work.
  • Perform any other duties as required.




  • High school diploma or equivalent with an Associate’s Degree being preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of precision printing press experience.



  • Expertise and  in-depth knowledge of all press functions and processes with demonstrated hands-on experience running multi-web presses.
  • Ability to identify and perform process-based troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability and experience producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations and read a ruler.
  • Ability to understand technical directions, (i.e. press set-up, runs and tear downs).
  • Ability to follow instructions, demonstrations and practices.
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized with a strong mechanical aptitude highly preferred.
  • Excellent team attitude with the skills necessary to communicate.
  • Basic computer skills necessary.
  • Ability to distinguish colors precisely.
  • Able to lift up to 50-lbs and safely operate hoists to lift product.
  • Demonstrate the ability to achieve and maintain acceptable levels of safety, quality and production.
