As Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you can take your career to the next level with us. We are seeking a proven leader who will direct a team of engineers for the support of new products, improvement to existing products and support of current products in manufacturing. This role’s focus will be to improve the quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost of these products across the Nashua, NH facility. Responsibilities Include: 

  • Develop engineering team by reinforcing problem solving methodologies and communications to key stakeholders.
  • Establishes clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results, I.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation.
  • Lead large engineering programs spanning across departments and functions to ensure accountability for key deliverables.
  • Provides exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders.
  • Implement standard work and standard cost metrics in Production, ensuring that key personnel understand their role in achieving performance targets.
  • Monitor production by developing and implementing a program of SPC and Control Plans for critical process variables.
  • Prioritize portfolio of improvement projects and day to day manufacturing support, ensuring timely response to production issues and systemic improvements.
  • Drive adherence to quality systems and Change Management by all Engineering staff.
  • Oversee thorough corrective actions and documented effectiveness checks for production issues.

Qualifications

  • BS Engineering (Chemical preferred) or related area required.
  • Minimum of 10 years manufacturing operations experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and minimum 5 years management experience from a technical and operational leadership perspective.
  • Proven ability to lead others in use of problem solving methodology and rigor.
  • Requires demonstrated success in process improvement for reduction in waste, reduction in cost and / or improvement in control.
  • Experience in process control, troubleshooting and refinement within a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
  • Strong change management skills.
  • Skilled with computer programs, statistical analysis and data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills in a matrix environment.
  • Requires high energy and a willingness to make process improvements based on data and investigation.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
