As Global Supply Chain Contract Manager, you can take your career to the next level with us. This challenging role will be key contributor to our global business by engaging with functional business partners, and working hand-in-hand with business functions and project teams to identify and implement supply chain improvements and perform on-going contract management.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Works hand-in-hand with Crane business owners in user requirement documentation, negotiations, contract development and adherence to contracting processes, and obtaining final contract approval.
  • Drives cost savings through price analysis, negotiation strategy planning, and effective consultation with business owners. Leads negotiation teams as required.
  • With business owner, ensure supplier metrics are clearly stated is contracts or SLAs to measure KPI supplier performance.
  • Manages supplier contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Ensure NDAs, ABAC, and Business Code of Conduct documents are in place with all suppliers.
  • Reviews and revises supplier contracts from a commercial perspective.
  • Manages global central repository of supplier contracts.
  • Acts as primary contact between business and legal, ensuring all legal and commercial matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
  • Identifies opportunities for standardization and consolidation of specifications and supplier base and contracts.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years direct experience.
  • Highly experienced in contract review and interpretation and development of negotiation strategies for a wide variety of agreements in the framework of company policies, procurement regulations, and business specifications
  • Strong analytical skills required with problem solving ability.
  • Strong project management expertise combined with excellent organizational, negotiation, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Well-rounded business acumen and well-developed presence as a leader.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to senior management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Experienced in developing strategies and negotiating contract terms and conditions specifically for contracts related to material supply, services, IT, CAPEX, and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of contracting principles and legal terms and conditions.
  • Experienced in creating Request for Proposal (RFP)/Contract packages and interfacing with multiple disciplines in their creation.
  • Experienced in the team approach to contracting which includes defining business requirements, potential supplier selection, negotiation strategy development, managing negotiation teams, and final supplier selection.
