Do you want to be a key team player with the fastest growing currency supplier in the world? Crane Currency is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our IT team in Nashua, NH. Drawing upon your expertise, you will be involved in designing and implementing new security tools and processes to facilitate the use of next generation information security solutions being deployed across Crane Currency.  In this role, you will own the incident response process that handles information security threats as they arise and for ensuing thorough follow up on all reported incidents. If you want to make an impact in the world, then we are looking forward to having you on the team. 


Essential Job Functions:

  • Implement company information security strategy with support from internal teams.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and full lifecycle management for installed security base.
  • Participate in security projects from inception to implementation and provide post project support.
  • Be responsible for the information security incident response process, by ensuring all incidents are managed to resolution and reported on appropriately.
  • Perform threat/risk assessments and deliver high level information reports for IT management.
  • Validate information security defenses by performing testing across Crane Currency infrastructure.
  • Provide total security oversight from perimeter security to endpoint protection solutions.
  • Advise on projects delivering business solutions that impact information security risks and relevant compliance certifications.
  • Manage multiple work streams on information security projects as well as providing operational support.
  • Help define the information security architectures of future initiatives.
  • Coach IT Infrastructure and Support teams on the different security platforms in place to improve their skill set and responsiveness.
  • Help educate and provide end user awareness through targeted programs throughout CPI.
  • Provide expert level (tier 3) support for installed security applications.



  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar information security role ideally.
  • 1-2 years plus experience gained in IT infrastructure support roles is highly relevant for this role.
  • Proven ability in information security principles, latest industry awareness and current knowledge.
  • Firm working knowledge of firewall technologies, creating rule sets, policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles including sub netting, LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Proficient knowledge of generating and administering web based security certificates, internal/external DNS records and other security features necessary for Internet facing systems.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory key security features including GPOs, ACLs.
  • Awareness of Microsoft operating systems including patching and vulnerability assessment, knowledge of Linux/UNIX based systems an advantage.
  • Proficiency in programming languages or Powershell scripting welcomed.
  • Very good analytical skills, logical thinking, diagramming capability.
  • Strong and confident interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interface with personnel from various departments and levels, both technical and non-technical.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Experience of working in an ITIL focused support organization with incident/request tickets.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including availability outside of normal working hours.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required, both domestic and international.
