Crane is growing and we are now a 24/7 operation in our Nashua, NH facility. We have one opening left on our Weekend Night Shift. As a Coater Operator, you will play a critical role within an organization known for innovative currency and banknote technologies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Safe and effective use of Coater Machine
  • Thorough understanding of all components and operations, including heaters, dryers, blowers, and corona treatment.
  • Utilizing all available/applicable test equipment and procedures to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
  • Follow standard operating procedures including coater operation, guidelines for troubleshooting, security, accurate record/log keeping with an emphasis on basic mathematical operations, and all relevant safety procedures.

     

     

 

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing machine experience which provides a degree of proficiency in basic operation (2 years minimum)
  • Industrial Math skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity to perform improvements and basic repairs to the machinery to minimize downtime and optimize output.
  • Ability to learn the minimum computer skills required to control the associated operation monitoring functions on both the PLC and inspection system computers.
  • Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Previous chemical handling experience a plus.
