    Crane is growing and we are seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our team based out of our Boston, MA headquarters. The successful candidate will have the ability and aspiration to progress to a more senior finance and/or business leadership roles in the future. Your attention to detail, as well as expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting pricing, planning and control, will be imperative to consistently deliver work products that exceed expectations. In this role, you will be assigned special projects, some of which may include temporary deployment to Crane Currency sites in the US and Europe. 



    • Provide financial analysis, reporting and support to the Company’s senior leadership team.
    • Prepare presentations and reports for the shareholders, bankers, employees, and other key stakeholders.
    • Analyze financial results to identify underlying drivers and use that information to improve the business.
    • Support the annual and long term global budget and forecasting process, including new and customized financial models.
    • Process leader for quarterly Functional reviews and quarterly Capital Expenditure reviews.
    • Support strategic business projects including M&A, capital structure, and global expansion.
    • Become an expert user of the Company’s global financial reporting systems.
    • Establish good working relationships with peers, business and functional leaders, and corporate executives.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve business, financial and IT systems.
    • Ensure the integrity and credibility of the financial processes, systems, and work product.



    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Minimum of 2 years Finance experience including budgets, forecasts and actual reporting.
    • Intellectual horsepower as evidenced by strategic vision and strong analytical skills.
    • Successful cross-functional project management experience.
    • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Financial analysis experience in a global manufacturing company.
    • MBA or other advanced degree.
    • Experience with continuous improvement programs (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
    • U.S. Government contract accounting experience.
    • Working knowledge of J.D. Edwards ERP systems, Business Objects and Adaptive Insights.
