    Responsibilities

    As an Electrical Engineer, you can take your career to the next level with us. In this key position, you will play an important role designing, developing, and modifying Power distribution systems throughout the Dalton, MA facilities. You will also have the responsibilities for managing projects ranging from basic motor selections to complete electrical infrastructure modifications and new system implementation, including machine drive system designs and installations and will play a key role in identifying and developing energy efficiency opportunities.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Promote safety leadership and a safe work environment throughout the company.
    • Responsible for engineering  power distribution and machine drive system projects from inception to completion.
    • Designs, cost estimating, budgets and project management of Capital and Maintenance related Electrical projects.
    • Troubleshooting Electrical and Drive systems problems.
    • Providing support to other engineering and maintenance departments.
    • Direct interaction with electrical utilities, suppliers, and contractors for services and equipment.
    • Provide professional leadership to ensure successful project designs, installations and operation.
    • Work as a part of a team with engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing personnel.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum 4 years Electrical Engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
    • Proven ability to prepare and manage budgets and projects.
    • Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and drive problems and issues.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with personnel at all levels within the company.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

    The person selected for this position will need to demonstrate suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
