As the Mechanical Engineer, you can take your career to the next level with us. In this key position, you will play an important role designing, developing, and modifying equipment and mechanical systems throughout the Dalton, MA facilities. You will also have the responsibilities of managing small to midsize projects ranging from machine modifications to new mechanical designs. Offering full accountability, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the manufacturing operations from cutting edge designs  and modification to existing equipment and systems to meet the growing challenges of our product.



  • Promote safety leadership and a safe work environment throughout the company.
  • Create all drawings as required using ACAD.
  • Design, cost estimating, budgeting, and project management of small to mid-size Capital and Maintenance projects.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical systems.
  • Working knowledge of pump and piping systems and industrial equipment installations.
  • Provide support to other engineers and maintenance personnel.
  • Direct interaction with Maintenance, Engineering and Manufacturing personnel.
  • Provide leadership to ensure successful project designs, installations and operation.
  • Work as a part of a team with engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing personnel.


  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years Mechanical Engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to design and detail using ACAD.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in an industrial manufacturing operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with personnel at all levels within the company.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

The person selected for this position will need to demonstrate suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
