    We're looking for a Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) Stock Clerk to join our team in Dalton, MA. In this position, you will play a critical role with an exciting organization known for innovative currency and banknote technology.  The MRO Stock Clerk will provide high quality customer support while maintaining the daily operations of the Central Storeroom.  The major daily functions are: customer service, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping spare parts and supplies. Other required tasks are: posting of daily transactions in the JDE system, document filing, material handling, maintaining the location system, conducting regular cycle counts and housekeeping.


    The position requires the ability to independently set workload priorities, communicate effectively in person, phone and email and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Central Storeroom operation and Crane Currency as a whole.


    The MRO Stock Clerk is expected to support coverage for the MRO Systems Lead to ensure continuity for daily operations of the Central Storeroom in his or her absence.

    • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • Possess basic math skills
    • Spare parts / inventory experience 
    • Mechanical comprehension
    • Customer service experience
    • Shipping / receiving experience
    • Willing and able to be certified for material handling equipment (fork trucks, pallet jacks, ladders, slings).
    • Proficient computer skills in MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • APICS CPIM Basics of Supply Chain Management Module completion within two years
    • Must have a valid driver’s license to travel between facilities
    • Ability to work independently and with others in a teamwork environment with minimal direction

    Preferred knowledge of the following:

    • Knowledge of Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Machinery
    • Purchasing experience
    • Associates degree in related discipline



    The person selected for this position will need to demonstrate suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
