    As Supply Chain Manager, you can take your career to the next level with us while leveraging your leadership and supply chain experience. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Supply Chain team for the US Government Products (USGP) division. You will also be responsible for developing new suppliers for a sustainable and resilient supply chain embracing operational excellence and lean principles.


    We are seeking a proven leader who is familiar with International supply chain/ purchasing experience and can get up to speed on the specifics of our business quickly. The right candidate should be comfortable negotiating contracts, and cultivate and maintain robust international supplier relationships.


    Responsibilities Include:

    • Accountable for reporting and supplier management processes that result in stable and capable supplier performance.
    • Lead cross-functional team meetings, projects, and activities and be the primary negotiator for supply chain contracts.
    • As a PRIME (New Product Stage Gate) team member, be accountable for the development of supplier management processes, systems, and commercial support associated with new products and processes.
    • Manage the department that meets day to day supply chain needs of the organization.
    • Continuously improve and be accountable for the purchasing process to ensure process and product changes meet the needs of the organization.
    • Ensure robust processes exist for suppliers to improve and manage change (PCRs, SCARS, CAPA process, etc.).
    • Ensure proper roles and responsibilities are clearly defined with suppliers to manage the essential triangle of the product manufacturing process, product supply, and product quality.
    • Set and standardize best in-class practices across the Enterprise and establish key metrics to measure performance and accountability.
    • Maintain knowledge of current marketplace conditions and trends and routinely provide guidance to Senior Management.
    • Develop strategic sourcing and purchasing strategies that align with the business strategies.
    • Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain team.


    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Logistics, International Business, Engineering, or Finance. MBA preferred.
    • Leadership, team building, and strategic thinking are skills are required for this position.
    • Strong Project Management knowledge and skills are highly desired.
    • Lean Six Sigma or Process Improvement training and/or experience is preferred.
    • Proficiency with all MS Office applications. JD Edwards knowledge preferred.
    • Engineering, quality, and manufacturing backgrounds with supply chain experience are desirable.
    • Paper and process industry manufacturing experience is desirable.
    • Knowledge of supply chain technologies including ERP, data warehouse, and transportation logistics systems is desirable.
    • High analytical capability, understanding of technical and financial data including the use of metrics to demonstrate performance. Self-motivated with a high degree of business and personal integrity.
    • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
    • Experience working in matrix organization is preferred.
    • Ability to stay current with and accurately interpret industry trends.
    • Excellent negotiating skills.
    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
