As the Optical Image Programmer & Processing Engineer within the Technical Research group in Alpharetta, GA, you can take your career to the next level with us. Our company is a technology driven global business with high expectations for superior quality products. This position requires a dedicated focus on internal software projects related to image processing, image analysis, data capture, vision systems, mathematical modeling, camera systems, and optical research. This position will involve developing software algorithms to measure optical performance of complex micro-optic systems, simulate the behavior of the systems, and to model potential improvements to the systems. Qualities such as internally motivated and results-oriented, rigorous mathematical precision, strong coding and documentation skills, and strong teamwork capabilities are integral in this role. You will also be responsible for helping to design state of the art micro optic security features for our clients around the world, and assist in developing the next generation of the technology. Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or electrical engineering (MS preferred)
