    Responsibilities

    Teamwork is Currency at Crane

     

    The Administrative Assistant provides direct administrative support for all site functions residing in the Nashua, NH office. as well as support the larger Crane Currency business as needed.  This person must be an efficient team player who is capable of working independently with little or no supervision in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to “jump in” and contribute immediately to a fast-moving global organization. Adaptability as well as exceptional organizational, follow-through and communications skills is integral in this role.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assists with calendar management, travel & expense reporting, PPT presentations, spreadsheets, monthly operations report (MOR), meeting planning/minutes, etc.
    • Supports the administrative and logistical planning of activities such as; Kaizen and other Continuous Improvement events (set up meetings, events, catering, supplies, etc.)
    • Provide administrative and logistical support for to the Nashua team leaders for key events and on-going support such as; ISO activities, quality Audits, new vendor set-ups, etc.
    • Acts as project leader on special assignments, which may include planning and coordinating multiple tasks and disseminating information
    • Works independently and as a team player on both special nonrecurring events and ongoing projects
    • Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and communications for the executive
    • Responds to regularly occurring requests for information and may draft/deliver responses or replies by phone or e-mail
    • Provides data analysis and prepares general forms of communication such as; memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, presentations, etc.
    • Ability to proofreads documents and make appropriate edit suggestions for spelling, grammar, layout,  etc. Make appropriate changes and accept responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy
    • Consistent display of poise, tact, and diplomacy
    • Greets and assists visitors and vendors, answers telephone calls and forwards phone messages as necessary 
    • Learns and updates company systems and programs as necessary for communication, reporting and updating current status
    • Maintains knowledge and awareness of current events and standard processes to provide back-up administrative support as needed
    • Performs other administrative tasks as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.  Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
    • Experience providing administrative support to a manufacturing site and/or multiple team members is preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point). Experience with SharePoint is a plus, but a willingness and ability to learn is a must
    • Must have a professional demeanor, be friendly, helpful and outgoing, and possess the ability to interface effectively with all levels of staff, clients, vendors, and visitors
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be a “team player" and be able to work with all levels of the organization effectively and efficiently
    • Ability to maintain and handle confidential materials on a routine basis
    • Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines while multitasking
    • Maintains knowledge and awareness of current events and standard processes to provide back-up administrative support as needed
    • Willing to work occasional overtime, some weekend work could be required but not typicalMust have a valid driver’s license for limited Company travel
