    Do you want to be a key team player with the fastest growing currency supplier in the world? Crane Currency in Nashua, NH is looking for a Production Manager to join our team. Drawing upon your expertise, you will manage all manufacturing including the safety, staffing and training of direct labor production personnel to meet our customer demand and product quality requirements. This role will lead the compliance of the 5S programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to reach and sustain the highest level of operational excellence. This includes but is not limited to productivity, efficiency, and support system improvements. In this position, you will help play a vital role in the production of Crane's next-generation technology.     • Effectively manage the manufacturing areas to achieve corporate performance goals, satisfy customer requirements and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Direct management responsibility for the four shift Supervisors.
    • Exceptional team leadership and proven ability to work in matrix organizations working effectively up, down and across the organization.
    • Lead with integrity and strong ethics always acting in a credible, transparent and truthful manner
    • Resolve conflicts with productive results and to promote mutual growth of the department.
    • Communicate effectively and respectfully to execute strategic direction of operations.
    • Establish a solid understanding of the processes and support systems to yield the required product quality and consistency.
    • Evaluate, analyze and reduce production costs.
    • Ensure proper training and development of employees. Coach and develop Supervisors to maintain an open and respectful culture focused on teamwork and meeting the company’s goals.
    • Ensure that safety, product quality, on-time delivery, yield and uptime goals are clearly communicated frequently to the production staff.
    • Support and contribute to team activities in product development, supplier and raw materials development, and engineering products.
    • Contribute as a member of the Technical Review Board. Drive CAPA’s to timely completion.


    • Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline required. Master degree in engineering or business preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in a fast paced high-tech manufacturing environment. Previous printing experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Supervisor and/or Manager.
    • Ability to take necessary steps to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
    • Ability to make sound business decisions.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Strong written communication skills, with emphasis on the ability to create technical reports, test reports, specifications and procedures.
    • Demonstrated communication and leadership skills, particularly in terms of negotiation and influencing skills. Must be able to build strong relationships and collaborate well with business partners.
    • Lead and develop a lean manufacturing environment.
    • Become a Change Agent to lead the production team to higher levels of operational excellence.
    • Ability and willingness to work all shifts as necessary to reach outlined objectives.
