    Responsibilities

    We're looking for a Part-time Janitor to perform the tasks necessary to maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness and materials recycling for the Dalton Campus. This includes emptying trash, sweeping/mopping floors, washing windows, and replenishing all supplies as needed for the Main Office, Pioneer engineering, Pioneer Research and development.  Also included is the scheduling of trash removal, recyclable materials pick-up, spring water distribution, as well as other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Manufacturing Supervisor.  This position will work Monday - Friday during the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

     

    • Clean and restock all site restrooms on a daily basis.
    • Keep records of inventory and reorder supplies as needed by site.
    • Supply all recyclable material for recycling waste materials.
    • Order special supplies for different departments as needed.
    • Clean large areas to ensure floor safety.
    • Maintain clean and orderly general site areas such as the cafeteria, mill offices, first, hallways and stairs.
    • Clean and test all eyewashes and showers weekly.
    • Remove and dispose of all trash and recyclables.
    • Responsible for Universal Waste for each site.
    • Maintain and keep all equipment used on the job in good working order.
    • Assist as needed during annual shut-down activities.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to work calmly under pressure
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Basic mathematical skills
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Must have good communication skills
    • Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions
    • Ability to pass Power Truck Certification
    • Must be willing and able to work any shift arrangement and overtime as needed

     

    The person selected for this position will need to demonstrate suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
