    Leadership is Currency at Crane  


    As a Process Control Manager within our Dalton, MA location, you will be a key team player with an exciting, fast-growing organization known for innovative currency and banknote technology. Drawing upon your expertise, you will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the management of Process Control Groups resources to develop and implement capital plans.  This includes defining scope with internal customers, design and detailed engineering, project cost estimation, submitting appropriate justification and funding requests, and adhering to budget, schedule, safety, and quality commitments.  In addition you will develop strategy for upgrading/updating Vision and Process Control Architecture to meet the needs of the business to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Target Goals.  The Process Control Manager will work with the Project Engineering Manager and the Process Control Group to forecast the capital budgets for the coming years.



    • BS or MS in Engineering (Electrical/Vision System Engineering preferred).
    • 3+ years of progressive management experience in engineering and/or maintenance.  Experience in pulp and paper industry a plus.
    • 4+ years in manufacturing, automation and/or converting support.
    • Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma desired.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in managing and overseeing large capital projects.
    • Demonstrated experience making decisions around the prioritizing and assignment of work flow within an engineering services group.
