As a Sr. Process Control Engineer within our Dalton, MA location, you will be a key team player with an exciting, fast-growing organization known for innovative currency and banknote technology. Drawing upon your expertise, you will play a pivotal role in all aspects of designing, developing, and modifying process control systems throughout the Dalton campus. Responsible for managing projects ranging from simple process control applications to complete process control infrastructure modifications and improvements. Works with Maintenance and Operations to troubleshoot existing systems to maintain productions schedules. Works with our outside suppliers to set-up and administer annual service agreements for various systems campus-wide.   

  • Responsible for engineering process control projects from inception to completion.
  • Designs, cost estimating, budgets and project management of capital and maintenance related process control projects.
  • Assist operations and maintenance in troubleshoot issues with existing process control systems as required.
  • Lead the effort to complete the upgrade of obsolete process control (OT) computer systems in Dalton.
  • Providing support to other engineering and maintenance departments as required.
  • Direct interaction with process control suppliers and contractors for services and equipment.
  • Provide professional leadership to ensure successful project designs, installations and operation.
  • Submits periodic project status reports, as required, to Engineering, Operations and all other involved departments, as well as keeping accurate information on project costs and alerting management of possible over-runs.


  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering.
  • 3-5 or more years of experience with process control systems.
  • Ability to generate and evaluate technical specifications for electrical systems.
  • Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving process control problems and issues.
  • Proven ability to prepare and manage budgets and projects. 
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with personnel at all levels within an organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, tact and diplomacy at all levels for dealing with suppliers and building/leading teams.
