As the Manager of Advanced Process Technologiesyou can take your career to the next level. This is a key role responsible for planning, executing and leading a cross-functional team in the development of new & novel manufacturing equipment to be used for new product production, involving taking an initial concept through equipment installation and scale-up in a production environment ensuring all project deliverables are timely, cost-effective, and meet high quality standards.

  • Manage cross-functional teams including R&D, process engineering, & operations
  • Use of a phase-gated development framework to meet overall capability, quality, cost, and time-line goals
  • Utilize business acumen skills to understand business needs & define scope of projects
  • Develop and implement work plans for the cross-functional development teams, accommodate modifications as necessary due to changing conditions, maintain measurements and review the assigned work to ensure project objectives are met
  • Facilitate meaningful and constructive exchange of ideas and knowledge
  • Communicate within the project team all functional responsibilities and project status
  • Identify and manage technical issues and project risks
  • Utilize knowledge of cross functional organization to drive completion, develop & coach team members, and provide constructive feedback for development
  • Conduct project presentations & demonstrations to stakeholders, leadership, and colleagues, communicating project status to cross-functional Sr. Leadership through project reviews and status reports to include project expenses, capital budgets and track progress to plan


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering; Masters preferred
  • Ten years min exp in an engineering or mfg environment
  • Five years min. in leadership or program management role with Strong Leadership and team-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability managing projects including scheduling/budgeting, PMP or equivalent preferred; six sigma green or black belt a plus
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple activities and projects
  • Proven track record of innovation in machine or equipment design
  • Portfolio Management of large technology programs
  • Strategic vision and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and lead others without formal authority while maintaining effective work relationships
  • Track record of driving high performance product and teams globally
  • Process orientation; demonstrated ability to develop repeatable processes or improve existing processes in and out of product development
  • Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged
  • Energy and enthusiasm; willing to be held accountable and willing to hold others accountable
