Crane Currency is looking for an Experienced Printing Press Operator for Second Shift. 

 

Responsibilities

Crane Currency is a pioneer in advanced micro-optics technology for securing banknotes, offering features that do not exist elsewhere. The precision equipment our Press Operators run are like no other and they play a critical role within our organization. 

 

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Insure products meet required specs throughout run
  • Safely run press equipment and follow all SOPs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and perform scheduled operator maintenance duties
  • Comply with and enforce all pertinent departmental and company policies, procedures and instructions including safety procedures and requirements
  • Perform any other duties as required
  • Participate in Kaizen events to optimize and improve processes

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s Degree being preferred but not required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Precision Printing Press experience is a Must

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Expertise & in-depth knowledge of all press functions and processes with demonstrated hands-on experience running multi-web presses required. 
  • Ability to identify and perform process-based troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability and experience producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations and read a ruler.
  • Ability to understand technical directives.
  • Ability to follow instructions, demonstrations and practices.
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent team attitude with the skills necessary to communicate.
  • Basic computer skills necessary.  
  • Able to lift up to 50-lbs and safely operate hoists to lift product.
  • Demonstrate the ability to achieve and maintain acceptable levels of safety, quality and production.
