Responsibilities

Leadership is Currency at Crane

 

Crane is growing, and we now have a Sr. Financial Analyst opening in our Nashua, NH office. An international operation, our finance practice requires a dedicated focus on accuracy and integrity. Your extreme attention to detail, as well as expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting pricing, planning and control, will be imperative in consistently delivering to expectations. 

 

Some of the Responsibilities include: 

  • Annual Budget & Forecasting: providing support for key business initiatives
  • Financial reports: measuring mfg performance & drive improvements
  • Monthend close and analyze financials ensuring accuracy
  • Variance reporting, Researching, Analyzing, and Interpreting data to ensure consistency
  • Weekly financial forecasting
  • Provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding risks and suggestions for improvements
  • Prepare sound economic justification, ROI / IRR analysis and evaluation for all capital projects
  • Champion capital projects from inception through project execution
  • Support the Supply Chain strategic sourcing initiative for the Global Currency division
  • Provide support as needed in the following areas: customer audits, internal audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance reviews
  • Assist with the annual Long-Range Strategic Plan process 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance with at least five years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
  • Budgeting and forecasting (experience building and planning)
  • Strong Microsoft Office software skills - Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intellectual capacity as evidenced by strategic vision and strong analytical skills
  • Capacity and willingness to travel domestically or internationally on an as-needed basis
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines

 

Desired:

  • Knowledge of accounting and business software, including J.D. Edwards, Business Objects, Adaptive Insights and Hyperion (HFM) Software preferred
  •  Experience in a manufacturing environment
