Laboratory Process Technician

As a Lab Process Technician you could play a critical role in supporting manufacturing through proprietary procedures in a lab environment. If you have the ability to “jump in” and contribute immediately to a fast-moving global organization, this may be the right job you!


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly involved in fabricating prototypes for customers & production, using Standards and Tolerances in determining quality
  • Upkeep and maintenance of multiple labs and equipment
  • Perform quality testing 
  • Perform wet processing using solvents, acids, and bases
  • Implement process controls for repeatable results
  • Maintain accurate records 


Education & Work Experience:

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics or related equivalent technical degree, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced environment.
  • Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic algebra and unit conversions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience handling and working with chemicals in a lab environment.
  • Cleanroom experience preferred. Ion Deposition experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SDS & safety procedures related to chemicals and chemical storage.
  • Experience with thin film deposition, metrology tools supporting lithography, UV exposure tools, and wet processing.
  • Skilled in working with solvent/acid cleaning and/or water processing, and use of optical microscope for inspection.  
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; and ways to improve & promote quality.
  • Understanding of project management principles.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
